Same here. Fee for nothing just a petty money grab. I’ll go elsewhere next time.

Most of these salons were shut down by their democrat governors and lost alot of business and revenue as a result. They need to recoup some of it in order to stay in business, thus the penny-ante charges they now impose on the customers.

However, one wonders why anyone, especially a man would go to a hair salon to get a haircut instead of just wandering into a barbershop for one and paying alot less.

I still pay $8 for a haircut at a barbershop. And, a barber actually cuts it.

I do not think it's fair to charge the customer $3.95 for the stores keeping up to covid19 compliance. Will Not be back there for a haircut.

A Very Big NO..! Alert on your hair

If you love your hair, this is the worst salon. more than worst. I visited a salon near Kirby Houston, the lady doesnt know how to cut the hair at all. I told her to have the layers effect in my hair and she called some other lady to do and they did it so horrible. Feel pathetic. Please dont waste your money in this dump..!

I took my son to get a hair cut at tgf on 2323 clear lake city blvd and the stylest got the machine and took all of his hair off and that wasn't what i want his hair cut to be. DON'T GO OVER THERE, THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HAIR CUT AND YOU CAN'T CALL ANY NUMBER TO COMPLAIN, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS

HORRIBLE! BEWARE!

I will NEVER go to TGF again. I'm actually a loyal customer of them for many years, until about a year ago. A year ago I went to get a cut and a location in Austin, TX, where I actually started to get hit on by the stylist. He began telling me about how he was going to have dinner, implying we should go, and making me feel uncomfortable, I never went back to that location again and never wanted to. Today I needed another haircut and decided to dye my hair since I hadn't in a couple of years so I went to TGF, thinking I could give it another chance at another location, so I went. I had a woman, I told her what I wanted and specifically asked her if the dye from the precious dye was still in my hair as I've had multiple haircuts since then, and because I knew that I didn't wanna use bleach if I wanted to continue to dye it. She insisted that the dye was gone, so I believed her (she's the expert right?), and we moved forward. During the dye process, she made some comments that I didn't really like, first being that I need to wax my eyebrows. After we washed the dye out of my hair we went back to the chair and I quickly saw that she'd noticed that my roots were the only thing that had been dyed and she saw how irritated I was and trying to keep an open mind, I figured, maybe it looks better, as I could see my roots were a bright red, and the middle of my hair down was black. She started to dry my hair and kept mentioning to me that this was the look everyone was looking for these days and that she loved the color, and before I even got to see the finished product, she whipped out the waiver that she wanted me to sign stating that I was satisfied with my service and told me to put that I loved it. After the product was finished, I could definitely see that half of my head was black, and she was eager for me to leave. She even charged me for it, and I didn't wanna make a scene since people were coming in and out so I just said fine as I'd expected to pay more anyway, and I'd left. I knew I'd dyed my hair black before, but I didn't think she'd lie and say she didn't see it in my hair just to get a sale when I was unsure if it was still there from years ago. I'll never go there again, and neither should ya'll.

Bad Hair Cut

I guess it is shame on me, I went to the Location in Katy, Texas on South Fry road months back and received a bad hair cut. I went there again "different hair cutter" for my son and I to both get a trim. The main issue here is the lack of understanding the English language. I asked for a trim, just a little off of the sides and back, she said she had to use the electric clippers, I told her as long as we don't remove too much. First rattled out of the block off comes far too much. What are you to do at that point. My son had a different person with the same results, He asked for the back to be left alone and take hair from the from and sides, WRONG, back gets cut and he won't let her finish the rest.I am a business professional and I am going to cancel all my appointments for next week as I just can't be seen with this cut in public. We wil not return to any TGI locations

Extremely aggressive TGF employee in Galveston Walmart

Uneducated staff with no sense of being professional. No sign in sheet upon arrival. Woman behind counter doing paperwork not welcoming you, telling you to take a seat, it will be 20 minutes. 20 minutes for what? I requested to sign in, she once again said 20 minutes and ignored me. I told the counter woman I thought she was rude and asked for her name. I was once again ignored. I approached my spouse who had received the same treatment upon arrival to say we were leaving. I saw a stylist washing a woman's hair, inquired on the name of the person behind the counter and was told she will give her own name only, she will not give the name of another employee. Wow...This TGF is in need of firing and rehiring. It used to be nice.

TGF Hair Salon - Hair Highlighting Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Horrible. My hair was supposed to be a partial foil. I received a mohawk on the right side of my head. 2 strands on the left side. Cost 100.00 for very short hair. Plus got quoted 2 different prices...very dishonest Also this salon is filthy. The cape she put on me was full of the mans hair she had just cut. Plus no info on any corporate management. Regis Corp has no link info about this location and they own it. They do not know what they are doing at this salon and I have no confidence in a redo from them...dont waste your time, money or risk your hair! 100.00 for no cut or blow dry...just this right side mohawk foil. The site wouldnt let me upload the photos.

TGF Hair Salon - Hairdresser Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My mother in law needed a hair cut so we went to the one on jones rd near kroger. The stylist had poor customer service. Her name was diana. She kept telling my mother in law she needed a straight cut in which wasn't wanted. I told her to layer it around the head but she insisted to cut hair like a man. I will no longer go to get my hair cut their nor my mother in law. If diana layered her hair she won't have to cut it four times.

Rude hair cutter

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Today I went to my usual TGF salon that now has all new hair cutters and some do not speak English very clearly. I have gone there many years.

I have had the best hair cuts, service and attention which was special due to an eye disease. The operator today was abrupt acted like she could not speak English very well and did not want to do a dry cut. She actually said to me in a loud voice which the male customer in the next chair clearly heard," are you doing something about your balding?" I replied that Balding is in men And in women it is called thinning. I was very embarrassed and have never been treated this way in 8 years of 1x a month hair cuts.

Do something about this rude gal in chair 1 at TGF Barker Cypress and 290 in Cypress Texas.

Shame on her rudeness. Judy

Poor Customer service at TGF - Eldridge Parkway - Houston TX

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I took off extra time for my lunch break into hoping to get a haircut. I have been to the TGF hair salon on 6340 N Eldridge Pkwy Ste E, Houston, TX 77041 well over a dozen times. On 3-4 occasions it did seem they were understaffed but didn't mind coming back 10-15 minutes later.

Today, I arrived at 11:09am and was only one person working and servicing another customer. She told me to stop back at 11:30am and I would be able to get a haircut then. I came back at exactly at 11:30am and there were 2 guys sitting in the waiting area already. She said for me to stop back at Noon. I said well at 11:09am I was told to come back at 11:30am and its now 11:30am. She said ooops and laughed and said to come back at noon.

Very poor customer service. I will look for a different TGF to frequent or a new place all together that actually cares about its customers and has a sign in sheet so the person knows how far down the list they are.

RIPPED OFF and LIED TO

I asked Linda Barr to do about 3-inches of roots only on my highlight. She said she would My hair came out lighter where I didn't want it and the roots were not even touched. She charged me $85 and didn't even apologize for not doing what I asked for. I regret paying and tipping her $5. I asked Linda Barr to do about 3-inches of roots only on my highlight.
